Those of you trying to conceive can find yourself suddenly under a lot of stress and mindfulness is something you may have heard of. You may find that you need a tool to help deal with the stress you are experiencing. There is a stress and mindfulnesswealth of evidence about how Mindfulness Meditation can increase a person’s capacity to deal with difficult experiences and benefit your health.  Yoga Essence (a Yoga Studio) in Celbridge is offering the accredited course on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.  It is an 8 week course that offers the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme as devised by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Stress and Mindfulness Orientation Meeting

If you wish to enrol in the Stress and Mindfulness course at Yoga Essence then you must attend an orientation meeting prior to enrolment.  This Orientation meeting is being held on Thursday the 17th of September 2015 from 10am – 11am.

Cost:                           €250 (includes 25 hours tuition, all course materials; CDs, workbook etc).

Stress and Mindfulness Teacher Claire O’Rourke

Having developed a personal meditation practice over many years, Claire is fully trained stress and mindfulness teacher, having completed three years of post-graduate training in Mindfulness-Based Approaches at the CMRP, University of claire.pngBangor, (Wales) where she was awarded a Certificate in Mindfulness Based Approaches and Teaching Mindfulness in 2011.

She has delivered Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention programmes in Ireland.  Claire adheres to the UK Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers, attending regular retreats and committing to ongoing professional development and training in the area of Mindfulness.

Claire is an experienced, accredited psychotherapist (FTAI, ICP) working with Counselling in Primary Care (HSE) and in private practice at Blue Lotus Counselling and Psychotherapy in Celbridge.
